The Last Exodus: The Earthborn Trilogy, Book 1

The CamRate Summary:

PositivesPositives

I have bought book two and look forward to the story been a loyal reader of Pauls on , and when he announced he was releasing a book, I was so adamantly against eBooks at the time that didnt bother to give it a chance until just recently (this was my first eBook, using the Kindle App on my phone).Part of me now wishes I had read this upon release; what starts out as just another run-of-the-mill post-apocalyptic tale quickly escalates to one of epic proportions on a much grander scale than the synopsis led me to believe.

NegativesNegatives

Shame I wont be buying parts 2 and 3 given the inflated prices charged by the publisher etc as this is a really good well written book. So author and publisher if you want more readers drop the price. Dont you understand basic economics?Robot voice was really annoying! The reviews for this book look pretty good but there is no way I am going to pay 9.59 for a Kindle book, no matter how good it sounds. Someone needs to think again about the price of this book and come up with something more realistic.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Last-Exodus-Earthborn-Trilogy-Book-ebook/dp/B06XQ77DD9?SubscriptionId=AKIAJOF43QDA3QLOVLJQ&tag=wwwcamratecom-21&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B06XQ77DD9 The Earth lies in ruins in the aftermath of an extraterrestrial invasion, the land devastated by a desperate war with no winners between mankind and a race of vicious, intelligent creatures. The seas are drying up while the atmosphere corrodes and slowly cooks any life remaining on the now desolate rock. Food is scarce, trust even more so, and the only people left alive all have done horrific things to stay that way.Among the few survivors is Lucas, an ordinary man hardened by the last few years after the worlds end. Hes fought off bandits, murderers, and stranded creatures on his long trek across the country in search of his family, the one thing that drives him to outlive his dying planet. What he finds instead is hope, something thought to be lost in the world. Theres a ship buried in a crater wall. One of theirs. One that works. To fly it, Lucas must join forces with a traitorous alien scientist and a captured, merciless raider named Asha. But unless they find common ground, all will die, stranded on a ruined Earth.Combining gritty post-apocalyptic survival and epic space opera, The Last Exodus is the beginning of a new action-packed science fiction adventure where the future of the human race depends on its survivors leaving the past behind.Skyhorse Publishing, under our Night Shade and Talos imprints, is proud to publish a broad range of titles for readers interested in science fiction space opera, time travel, hard SF, alien invasion, near-future dystopia, fantasy grimdark, sword and sorcery, contemporary urban fantasy, steampunk, alternative history, and horror zombies, vampires, and the occult and supernatural, and much more.
