I dont normally leave negative reviews but felt the need to here.
Where to start?

Like many have mentioned before, upon moving in the property had NOT been cleaned by the previous tenants, and nobody was ever sent subsequently to clean it.

We were given no inventory upon moving in, never received one for the duration of our tenancy and never heard of it since.
What self respecting letting agency does not even provide an inventory? One, it would seem, that use this to try and bill you when you leave for issues that were present when you moved in.

The previous tenants left a huge collection of plates, crockery and other items which Antony James then had the audacity to charge us for after we left. Perhaps if wed been given an inventory at the beginning this wouldnt have been an issue? But no.

There were basic maintenance issues when we moved in and we had to chase for months for much of this to be fixed. Some things were still not completed by the time we left.

I sincerely hope that the sudden jump in vaguely worded, positive reviews here are genuine, as it would mean this company have sorted their act out seemingly overnight. We and our house however, did not receive service anywhere close to an acceptable standard and its important we make it known.

I dont want to have to argue constantly with a company that I am paying to provide a service to me.
I dont want to have to go back and forth for months for anything to happen.
I dont want to be lied to constantly and be told again and again that something will be done and nothing does.
I dont want to be presented with an enormous bill at the end of tenancy in a blatant attempt to wring as much extra cash out of me as possible the final bill was about 90 pounds lower than the initial estimate they sent us, most likely because we complained.

And I certainly dont want to have to waste my time complaining online after repeated and persistent bad service. People only complain when there is cause to, and there is plenty here.

The other negative reviews speak for themselves, and regardless of how many people you ask to review you nicely I understand this is a practise they employ, most likely to try and bury the bad reviews they get from genuinely dissatisfied tenants, if you treat people in this way they will have something to say about it.
