Super Bowl rematch? Falcons Mohamed Sanu and Patriots Duron Harmon join Rutgers spring game









The Rutgers football Scarlet-White scrimmage has an added feature. Mohamed Sanu of the Atlanta Falcons and Duron Harmon of the New England Patriots will coach against each other.

Duron Harmonearned an NFL championship ring as a member of the Super Bowl-winning New England Patriots this year.
But nearly three months after watchingHarmon and three other former Rutgers football teammates celebrate at the expense of his Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 51,Mohamed Sanu can exact revenge in the Scarlet-White scrimmage.
Harmon and Sanu will serve as honorary coaches in the April 22 spring game, Scarlet Knights coach Chris Ash announced via Twitter on Friday night.

A standout wide receiver who enters his season with the Atlanta Falcons, Sanu is fresh off one of his best NFL campaigns, tallying 59 receptions for 653 yards and four touchdowns in 15 games. The South Brunswick product finished his career as Rutgers and the Big Easts all-time leader in career receptions with 210.

A key reserve who recently signed a four-contract worth $20 million to remain with the New England Patriots, Harmon finished his Rutgers career as a two-time All-Big East First Team selection. The defensive back, who also earned a Super Bowl ring with the Patriots in 2014, played with Sanu at Rutgers from 2009 through the 11 season.
Sanu will coach the Scarlet team, while Harmon will lead the White roster. The Rutgers intrasquad scimmage will be held Saturday, April 22, at High Point Solutions Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m., and the scrimmage will air on the Big Ten Network.

The addition of Harmon and Sanu is the latest wrinkle to highlight a Scarlet-White game that will feature a free concert by Big Rich. The Grammy-nominated country music artists will perform at 3:30 p.m.
