Lofts Apartments

#real_estate_agency #point_of_interest #establishment Ive been here for almost 2 years, and this has been a really great place to live! Here is my list of likes and dislikes:

PROS
Quiet and safe
Mailboxes at each entrance 2 of every building
1 laundry room in each building, with 2 washers and 2 dryers
NO QUARTERS FOR use Cincinnati Coin Laundry, where you load money onto a laundry card. The machine is outside of the leasing office.
Walking path around the neighborhood
Cozy wooded scenery with 2 lakes in the neighborhood
A view of the Ohio River and Downtown Cincinnati not in the apartments, over in the condo section.
Friendly neighbors, mainly young families and senior retired folk
No riff raff! Everyone here is respectful and minds their own business.
Ameristop is right outside the entrance of the neighborhood.
Dog poop pickup stations.
Management Sharon is very professional and on top of everything. She has made living here very easy and enjoyable. Shes great at her job.

CONS
Maintenance can take a few days-a week to get to you. They only have one guy taking care of the maintenance for all the apartments. Its not his fault, hes a busy guy and good at what he does. But they should consider hiring another person to help out with the maintenance to speed things up.
Kids will leave their bikes/scooters/big wheels out in the grassy areas in front of the buildings. Management should do a better job at correcting this. It makes us look like a bunch of hillbillies.
Some neighbors have a hard time with the pick up after your pet concept. Management is strict about this and sends out emails constantly reminding residents of the policy and the reprimand that comes with disobeying the policy. But for some reason there are a handful of people that ignore it. The majority of the dog owners respect the policy and pickup after their pets.
The walls are a little thin. I can hear my neighbors when they cough or are having a louder conversation. The buildings were built back in the 70s, so that may have something to do with it. Its not terrible, just would be nicer if there was more insulation between shared walls.

Overall this has been a wonderful place to live. As you can see, the pros heavily outweigh the cons. All of the good things about this place and the price for the apartments... you will not beat it. The cons are why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. If I wasnt moving to another state I would sign a third lease. Highly recommend!!
