Castle Point

#real_estate_agency #point_of_interest #establishment I had an unfortunate experience with Castle Point in my apartment search. I called ahead last Wednesday to schedule an appointment to see an apartment for the following Saturday. I showed up on time, but the lady who greeted me said that they were not informed that I was showing up. When I asked if I could see a 1 bedroom apartment, she told me that she didnt have any available to show. She couldnt tell me if there were any available because as she said, she didnt have any of the apartments she managed, and she didnt know if her coworkers had any units they managed available. I asked if they could look into it and let me know if any were available for showing/rent, and she said no - I would have to call in every couple of days to see if anything opened up. Im not sure what their processes are, but in my experience, it should be easy to know what units are available and when. Im sad to say that the appointment I was very much looking forward to turned out to be a complete waste of time.

The lack of professionalism was regrettable. I scheduled an appointment to see an apartment, which was not kept by the staff, and they seemed uninterested in actually finding a place for me to stay. The only fortunate thing from this experience I can say is that I know that I can safely cross Castle Point off my list of potential places to rent. If this is how they treat prospective tenants, then Im nervous to consider how they would treat their residents.
