The Black Swine

#restaurant #food #point_of_interest #establishment The good thing about Black Swine is that the food is good, fresh and well prepared.
The not so good is the experience. I will never understand why fine dine restaurants have Televisions on. I do understand if there is a sports bar environment. But the TV only serves as a flickering distraction from the dining experience. Second, I am sure that if asked, the person who takes an order will give you the price for the specials. However , in the three times we have eaten there, we did have to ask , rather then hear the price for the specials. I will just suggest that its more gracious to be told the price then to have to ask for it. Third, I get that credit cards cost the restaurant more, however , it is an additional inconvenience to have to remember to carry cash to pay for dinner small issue, but adds to the experience . Fourth, we have always felt rushed through dinner. I do understand the need to turn tables, but as before , the experience is compromised , if the patrons feel rushed. Lastly, we sat at a table that was indirect line with a speaker. After asking three times for the sound to be turned down, I gave up. So now we have a flickering tv, and a ;booming speaker. Experience. We live in the area and dine out frequently. Afraid this will not be on our list of places.
