This property is not a great place to stay you pay as much as you would for a house and recieve terrible customer service and out dated buildings. I have lived at Harbor Place Apartments since June 2017 and currently fighting to break my lease with no penalty. Where do I start first and foremost they will sell you the dream that your apartment will come with so many different amenities first off all there appliances,heat and air are very much so poor in quality the washer and dryer in the unit is great but they are seriously tiny. The buildings all have an odor that seems to linger and its not just the weed smoke. The apartment itself has many cracks on the wall that maintenance just paints over and never acknowledges trust they did a great job patching things up, the weightroom you see in the pictures is just a three bedroom apartment with weights and excercise equipment in it. This property is stealing money left and right. To quote the first review on this property So be prepared to pay between $70-$150 for gas, water, sewer & trash and that does not include your electric bill from PEPCO but also you might want to keep in mind your cable and internet. As stated there is No visitor parking and the tow company seems to just lurk around and tow anything that is not moving there have been tows done to cars that did display the correct parking permits. The property manager Ms.I along with Ms.W are often never around and on extended lunch breaks around the time many residents are off work and ready to resolve any issues. Financially they have stolen a few payments from me , which me and my financial institution have caught and produced proof needless to say they denied and went missing for like a month as they swear they had a meeting in pennsylvania.Sidenote:They do contact tenants and rudely express concerns over bad reviews,some tenants have even been given breaks on rent when they do a five star review. By all means rent to own a home or just live elsewhere because this property is all about money and they treat every resident terrible. But a plus Maintenance may have done a crude job on the apartment before we moved in so we may be inheriting someone elses mess but as a whole this team currently is rocking it but management still finds a way to put them down. STAY AWAY FROM HARBOR PLACE APARTMENTS AND MORGAN PROPERTIES AS A WHOLE. 9 times out of 10 I will break my lease and move on to a house or overall better living situation.
